Sheep Photo Shoot :) 2010

On our travels, we had seen sheep or goats every other five minutes, but only stopped to take a picture once. So, when we saw some farmers working with their sheep in a fold, we decided to stop and see if we could make the most of the opportunity.

The fold was set by a bridge with a lovely creek running under it.
Care to take a guess at how many sheep there were?
Continuous creams...
Unbobbed tails for some reason

Securing the gate.

Blue sky, rolling hills.... Have to develop this photo into some sort of ATV advertisement! :)

Separating the flock

Different sections. These photos remind me of one of the most beautiful passages in the New Testament, where Jesus showed the symbolism between a shepherd and his sheep, and Himself and us as His children. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. John 10:27-30
